— Frequently asked

The questions everyone asks before booking.

Nothing here replaces a conversation with your physician. But it should clear the most common confusion before you book. Don't see your question? Reach out and we'll answer it directly.

Getting started.

From your first inquiry to the day you begin treatment — here's how the process actually moves.

01How do I book my first appointment?+

Start with a brief online intake or call us at (888) 831-3314. We'll match you with a provider and schedule a consultation — typically within 48 hours of your inquiry.

02What happens during the initial consult?+

Your provider reviews your medical history, current medications, symptoms, and goals. Most consults run a focused 30–60 minutes. We do not prescribe before reviewing your bloodwork.

03Do I need to bring anything?+

Bring a list of current medications and supplements, recent lab results if you have them, and any specific questions or concerns. We'll handle the rest.

04How long until I start treatment?+

Most patients begin their protocol within 1–2 weeks of intake — once labs are back and your physician has designed your plan. Some protocols (IV therapy, aesthetic care) can begin the same day.

Insurance & cost.

We are transparent about pricing. Here is how the financial side works, including HSA/FSA eligibility and refund terms.

01Is this covered by insurance?+

Some services are partially covered (hormone therapy with a documented diagnosis, certain medications, some labs). Most elective wellness services are not. Our membership is HSA/FSA eligible. We're transparent about pricing during your intake.

02Is your membership refundable?+

Yes, within the first 30 days. After that, we offer a pro-rated refund based on services rendered. We want you to commit only if the care fits your needs.

03Can I pay with HSA or FSA?+

Yes. Most of our services and memberships are HSA/FSA eligible. We can provide receipts for reimbursement submissions.

04Do you offer payment plans?+

For larger packages and ongoing protocols, yes. Discuss with our team during your intake.

Treatment & safety.

How we source medications, monitor your labs, manage side effects, and protect your health information.

01Are your medications FDA-approved?+

Most are. For protocols using compounded medications (e.g. peptides, compounded GLP-1, compounded testosterone), we source from licensed U.S. compounding pharmacies. We discuss the regulatory status of every prescription with you.

02What are the side effects?+

Side effects vary by treatment. We screen for contraindications during your intake, start at the lowest effective dose, and adjust based on tolerance. Common transient side effects (nausea, headache, fatigue) usually resolve within weeks.

03How are my labs handled?+

Labs are drawn at one of our clinics or through a partner phlebotomy network. Results are reviewed by your physician, plotted over time, and discussed at every follow-up.

04Can I combine multiple protocols?+

Often, yes — for example, weight loss + hormone therapy, or IV therapy + peptides. Your physician designs the combined plan and monitors interactions. We don't combine therapies without clear rationale.

05How is my health information protected?+

VidaVital is HIPAA-compliant. Every consult is confidential. Medications ship in plain packaging. We never share your information with third parties.

Telehealth & clinic visits.

Most protocols work entirely through telehealth. A few require an in-clinic visit. Here is how to know which is which.

01Can I do everything via telehealth?+

Many protocols (ED, BHRT, weight loss, hair restoration) work entirely through telehealth. Procedures that require in-clinic visits (pellet inserts, P-Shot, O-Shot, IV therapy) need at least one visit. We'll let you know during intake.

02Which states do you serve via telehealth?+

We serve patients in most U.S. states via telehealth. Some prescriptions have state-specific restrictions; we'll confirm during your intake.

03Which clinic should I visit?+

Whichever is closest. Our six clinics — Las Vegas, Albuquerque, Boca Raton, Coral Gables, Brookfield, Omaha — all offer the same standard of care. Visit /locations/ for full addresses.

After your treatment.

What ongoing care looks like — from quarterly check-ins to off-ramps to between-visit support.

01How often will I see my physician?+

Quarterly check-ins for most protocols, with re-labs at each. More frequent contact during the first few months of a new protocol. Direct messaging is available between visits.

02Can I stop treatment if I want?+

Yes. We have off-ramp protocols for every long-term therapy — structured tapers, maintenance plans, and follow-up labs. Stopping is a clinical decision made with your physician.

03What if I have a side effect between visits?+

Reach out via the patient portal or call. We respond to clinical questions within 1 business day, urgent issues immediately. Severe reactions are referred to emergency care.
